Khush and Kiran first crossed paths in Jalandhar in 2016. Drawn to Kiran’s quiet confidence and effortless style, Khush kept finding little ways to connect with her until she eventually gave him a chance. What began as a school-day connection would grow into a love story with a distinctive sense of style.
The Kaur-Brar celebrations began in Los Angeles with an intimate sangeet set against an industrial space softened by lush florals. Kiran wore a forest-green Sabyasachi lehenga, pairing its rich gold embroidery with a garnet necklace. Khush complemented her in a custom kurta and vest, finished with Hermès shoes. The looks felt personal rather than perfectly coordinated — a balance of tradition and individuality.
Set against the sprawling landscapes of Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Kiran and Khush’s wedding ceremony was intimate, with just 30 of their closest loved ones present.
Surrounded by meadows, towering trees and cascading waterfalls, the setting offered a naturally romantic backdrop for the occasion.
Kiran approached the ceremony on her own terms, viewing marriage not as a departure from her traditions, but as an expansion of them.
Her bridal look began with a statement pair of crystal-embellished Maison Margiela x Christian Louboutin Tabi shoes, which became the inspiration for the rest of her ensemble.
Built around this unconventional starting point, the look brought together a fully custom coral creation by Tarun Tahiliani in a colour he had never executed before, complemented with polki & emerald jewellery.
