Our model bride, Arya Bendkhale, and orthopaedic business owner Federico Diego Perego’s love story which started at an equestrian event during Milan Fashion Week a few years ago over their shared love for horses has finally come full circle. We’re so honoured to be featured in @vogueindia for styling and curating this picturesque Lake Como wedding. Arya, who’s walked for some of the most coveted luxury houses like Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, and Burberry, hails from Pune, India fell in love with our charming Italian businessman, Federico. We had the pleasure of watching them get married not once but twice — first, a Christian ceremony at the iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como @ghtlakecomo , and then an Indian ceremony at Federico’s horse farm in Brianza. As Arya walked down the aisle, surrounded by Federico’s celebrated baby horses, everyone was quietly losing it over how surreal this Italian-Indian love story was as it unfolded. Arya wore a classic Sabyasachi look for the Indian ceremony, while Fede kept it elevated in Kunal Rawal. For the reception, Arya wore a gown by Celia Kritharioti, the designer who she happened to walk for in her very first haute couture show. On the day, Federico sealed the look with a clean Tom Ford.
