A Love Story That Crossed Bridges
For Chanpreet Garcha, an optometrist, and Jasnayak Sohi, a commercial investment advisor and entrepreneur, a swipe on a dating app became the beginning of a lifelong connection. Their shared Brooklyn Bridge backdrop in their profile pictures sparked an instant conversation, turning a simple coincidence into a story of love.
Their wedding celebrations in Mexico brought together family, tradition and romance across five distinct venues. From oceanfront cliffs to rituals in a mango orchard and an elegant evening at a private desert estate, each setting reflected a celebration shaped by meaningful moments and the people closest to them.
Planning five events across five venues required a thoughtful vision shaped by……. Despite demanding careers, Chanpreet & Jay travelled across India, visiting designers and showrooms to bring their moodboard to life. Their selections ranged from Tarun Tahiliani and Sabyasachi to Ralph Lauren and Annie’s Ibiza, with each designer chosen for a different celebration. The result was a five-day wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico, where every event had its own identity while remaining connected by a shared appreciation for tradition, artistry and personal style.
Chanpreet chose an ivory Sabyasachi lehenga inspired by the soft architecture and organic textures of Baja Luna. For the ceremony, the couple coordinated in Sabyasachi, pairing timeless silhouettes with distinctive jewellery that reflected their individual styles.
The celebrations concluded with a reception at Monte Cardon, a private culinary estate where the dramatic desert landscape created a striking backdrop for the final evening. The setting brought a sense of understated grandeur to the occasion, closing the festivities on an elegant note.
